- Rafferty Paving & Concrete began in 1946. Our founder, William “Billy” Rafferty started the business after he honorably served in the United States Army. Mr. Rafferty’s background while in the Army was dedicated to construction. He dreamed of starting his own business once his service came to an end, and that’s exactly what he did.

Those values have combined with our long history has made Rafferty Paving & Concrete an industry leader and the go to contractor for homeowners, business owners, property managers, HOA's, churches, municipalities, builders and General Contractors throughout the four-state area since 1946. The fact is most people believe every Contractor that submits a proposal are proposing the same scope of work. This logic is understandable, but incor

The fact is most people believe every Contractor that submits a proposal are proposing the same scope of work. This logic is understandable, but incorrect.
- It’s no accident that Rafferty Paving has created a reputation of honesty & integrity within the industry. Our crews handle all projects like they are their own. Our proposals are crystal clear on the scope of work we recommend correcting your issues. There are particular “WORDS” that all proposals should include. If a proposal does not contain these certain words, throw the proposal in the trash.
- If you need help reading a proposal or have questions regarding what vocabulary should be included IN ALL PROPOSALS, please feel free to contact Rafferty Paving. At the end of the day some proposals with fancy technical words might sound good, but it’s merely putting lipstick on a pick. Not understanding how to interpret those words could lead you to signing a proposal that could lead to bigger problems. You could end up signing a proposal where the scope of work proposed could lead to a more expensive correction within 2 years.
